Local, National, & Global Missions

Bethesda EC Church's mission is to advance the Good News of Jesus Christ throughout our community to make disciples where life-to=life relationships empower people to experience God's complete restoration in Jesus Christ.

Our mission reach begins internal to the church and it's community by providing resources, like financial and social support, often with the focus on serving others and sharing the love of Christ.  These activities and often short-term projects help make a difference and build relationships while also strengthening faith. These internal missions include, but are not limited to, The Church Has Left the Building, God's Pantry, and Extended Hands.

Our congregational missions also provide an opportunity to connect with people on a person level and allows our members to share the Christian faith through our actions and words. Our outreach and community initiatives include:

In addition to our local outreach programs, we also partner with and support various local missions with financial and other support resources. These local missions allow us to help reach and support communities outside our local area. To learn more about each of the local missions we support, please click on their link below.

The Bethesda family also provides financial support to various established missionaries and mission groups globally.  This financial support focus on addressing various challenges, including community development, social services, and disaster preparedness and response, while spreading the gospel and making disciples within our denomination. Our resources also equip other global leaders with resources to strengthen their local churches.
