Deeper
Roots

The purpose of Deeper Roots Family Ministry is to nurture and strengthen the families we serve. This is based on the Biblical principles that the family is part of God's Organized design (1 Timothy 5:8), and thus in need of nurturing and strengthening from the body of Christ. Further, the family raising children should be regarded with high-importance in the church, as children are a blessing and a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3-5).

The focus of Deeper Roots Ministry will be to share truth and encouragement to families through the modality of mentorship, and to strengthen the family through encouraging quality time and conversation. This is based off the Biblical principles that it is the responsibility of the church and seasoned believers in Christ to make disciples and teach them obedience to Christ (Matthew 28:19-20), the older generations are called to teach the younger generations how to love a Godly life, (Titus 2:3-5), and that sharing the truth of the Gospel will bring light and understanding to those who hear it (Psalm 119:230).

The Deeper Roots Ministry will serve and equip families in our congregation and community including married couples, single parents, grandparents raising children, and foster parents raising children.

All content of Deeper Roots Ministry will be based in Gospel truth with the Bible being our primary resource for all encouragement and teaching given to out group members. Topis for the Spring 2026 Semester includes:
-
Marriage
-
Practical ways to share the Gospel with our Children
