Leading Inmates in Faith & Education (LIFE) is a ministry flowing from a vision of former Pennsylvania Governor George M. Leader to lower the high incarceration rate in Pennsylvania.

The LIFE curriculum, Leading in Faith & Education, supports volunteers across Pennsylvania who seek to present a faith-based life skills program focusing on successful re-entry into society.

Volunteers from Bethesda participate in either the weekly evening programs at the Schuylkill State Correctional Institute at Frackville, Pennsylvania on in a monthly book club held at both the SCI Frackville and SCI Mahanoy prisons.  For more information on volunteering, please contact the church office at 570-739-2241.
