After graduating from high school in 1979, Jeff pursued an education in engineering and computer technology.  He was employed by Ford Electronics Corporation (a division of Ford Motor Company) in Lansdale, PA and Digital Equipment Corporation in Burlington, VT.

Pastor Jeff was licensed to preach in the Evangelical Congregational Church in 1986.  He is now an ordained elder in the EC Church, having graduated from Evangelical Theological Seminary in 2000 with a Master of Divinity degree.  Pastor Jeff has served as a pastor since 1991, and began ministry at Bethesda in January 2000. 

Pastor Jeff currently serves the National Conference on the Conference Relations Committee which is the credentialing agency of the EC Church.  He also serves as co-editor of the EC Link, a reference manual describing the passion, mission and operation of the EC Church.  He is trained to assist other EC Churches as a church health facilitator and serves on the Church Health Commission of the National Conference.  He teaches the Congregational Health course in Leadership Contact at the seminary, and continues to make this issue a priority in the life of Bethesda Church.

Jeff loves fishing, kayaking, writing, music, and vacationing on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Born and raised on a small farm in Eastern Lancaster County (b. 1961), Pastor Jeff feels at home within the community and rural setting of Bethesda Church.  He is married to Tasha and has two children, Ashley (b. 1993) and Erin (b. 1995).

He serves the Annual Conference of the E.C. Church on the Evangelism & Discipleship Commission, the Christian Education Committee, the Belize/Caribbean Support Committee, as well as the Youth Network.  He has worked with adult, children and youth ministries at the First E.C. Church in Palmyra, and continues this ministry variety at Reedsville.

Born and raised in Holtwood, PA, with both of his parents (Jere and Mary), he married Cindy (Wright) in 1991, and has two children – Sarah Elizabeth and Ryan Curtis.  As the Associate Pastor of Bethesda, Mark works within the framework of the Christian Education ministry, specifically focusing at children’s and youth ministries, in addition to involvement with the worship services of the church, counseling and visitation.

In his leisure time, Mark loves to spend time with his wife and children, as well as visiting family in Cumberland, Lancaster and Fulton Counties.  He is always ‘busy’ with projects around the house, at church, and loves to use his gift of service to help others in need.

Pastor Mark is Associate Pastor at Bethesda E.C. Church.  He graduated from Messiah College, Grantham, PA, with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education, and a Master of Divinity from Evangelical Theological Seminary.
